An Overview

Sustainable development today must move beyond conventional economic models that prioritize growth without considering ecological capacity and social equity. Such models have precipitated multidimensional crises, climate change, environmental degradation, and the marginalization of vulnerable groups. Therefore, there is a need to adopt a paradigm that balances Economic Growth with Ecological Resilience and Social Innovation. Meanwhile, Green Technology and Digital Entrepreneurship have emerged as transformative forces that can synergize to foster an inclusive and adaptive economy for the modern era. Green tech represents not just technical innovation, but also a shift in values-from exploitation to regeneration. Digital entrepreneurship enables new business models that are agile, decentralized, andcapable of reaching limitless markets through digital transformation. However, integrating the two faces challenges and paradoxes. On one hand, digitalization promises efficiency and innovation acceleration-but digital infrastructure itself is not yet entirely eco-friendly. On the other hand, manystartups or SMEs remain profit-centric and have not internalized sustainability principles within their product design or value chains. Additionally, disparities in digital literacy and environmental awareness across regions contribute

to uneven progress in this transformation.

This seminar aims to critically and constructively discuss how synergy between Green Tech and digital entrepreneurship can move from slogan to reality through responsible policies, research, and entrepreneurial practice. It’s no longer just about advanced technology, but about merging digital innovation with ecological and social vision to realize a fairer, more sustainable paradigm. By bringing together academics, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and civil society actors, the seminar aspires to build a network of collaboration and generate actionable knowledge in the form of follow-up research, support programs, and sustainable innovation partnerships.
